| LICENSING AND POLICIES |
- We are licensed by the State of Washington, and any suspected child abuse will be reported.
- Parents must sign in and out each day with full name, time of arrival and time of pick up.
- Our center follows The National Association for the Education of Young Children's (NAEYC) guidelines for developmentally appropriate practice and ethical conduct.
- We do not discriminate because of handicap, race, sex, religion, or ethnic background in enrolling children or in hiring staff.

| OPEN DOOR POLICY |
Our hours of operation are from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Mon. through Fri. Please note that there are time restrictions in different programs, and refer to the portion of our programs that relates to your needs. We welcome parents to visit unannounced at their convenience. Our office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

| MEALTIME & SNACKS |
We are enrolled in the USDA Food Program and our meals are nutritionally complete according to USDA guidelines. Meals served daily occur in the following time frames:
- Breakfast: 8:35 - 9:05a.m.
- Lunch: 11:00 - 12:30p.m.
- Afternoon Snack: 2:00 - 4:00p.m.
During meals and snacks children may eat and drink as much as they choose and will not be forced to eat food they do not like. Our Certified Dietary Manager will address special needs. See the Infant/Toddler section on the programs page for their meal information.

| FIELD TRIPS |
Field trips are arranged ahead of time. However, short outings may be spontaneous and announced the morning thereof. Children are buckled up in our vans and transported safely. There may be fees associated with field trips.

| CLOTHING |
Children participate in a variety of activities outdoors as well as indoors. They need to wear play-clothes and shoes, no sandals or exposed toes. Tennis shoes are preferred. Your child needs a complete set of labeled clothes left at the Center in case of accidents.

| ILLNESSES |
Illnesses that will prevent us from caring for your child are: Fever, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Rash, Head Lice, and Fatigue that hinders participation in our program. Please help us stop the spread of illnesses by not bringing your child if they exhibit any symptoms. If your child becomes ill while in our care, you will be notified to pick up your child as soon as possible.

| BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT |
Our goal is to empower children to believe in their great value and potential. We view behavior management as a continuing process through which children learn self control. Only constructive methods of discipline will be used. |
